Educational Wing of the MVIRDC – World Trade Institute was setup in the year 1991 and has built a strong reputation as being India’s most modern and innovative educational institution. WTI aims at shaping India’s future by imparting World Class Education in the areas of Foreign Trade, Foreign Exchange, Risk Management and Electricity Regulation.

In keeping with the Governments economic policy and subsequent opening up of the Indian Economy, the center realized the need for nurturing professional talent in Foreign Trade, Foreign Exchange and Risk Management. WTI has pioneered in introducing Post Graduate Diploma in Foreign Trade (PGDFT) in 1995, Post Graduate Diploma in Foreign Exchange and Risk Management (PGDFERM) in 1999.
